Challenge: All the DaysHey. Can I come over?

Hey, yeah, sure thing. What's up?

Nothing. Just… I'll be there in five.

When she opens the door, she immediately knows something's wrong. He's wearing his favorite hoodie and the oversized sunglasses his dad gave him for his fifth birthday. His hands are in his pockets and he's letting the rain soak him straight through.

She invites him inside and he leaves his shoes at the door. She goes to the kitchen to fix him a cup of tea. He stands in the middle of the living room, looking a bit lost, as if he hasn't been to her house hundreds of times.

As if he hasn't been here before for the same reason.

"Yes. Singing fish. I know it's hard to believe, but I swear it was something straight outta Little Mermaid."

"No, dude, I swear. Come over here, look. If you tap on the glass a certain way they all come over and open up their mouths and sing."

"Ahahaha! Dude, I can't believe you just fell for that!"

"Man, even the fish are laughing at you!"

Challenge: A Walk"Is there a reason you dragged me out here?"

Aiden looked at his companion for the first time in a good while. Sophia did not look pleased at all, her brows drawn in a frown and her eyes unforgiving behind her glasses. He supposed she had reason enough to be peeved. It was ten degrees outside with ten inches of snow on the ground and this was probably a terrible idea to begin with, anyway.

"Yes," he said simply. He pulled his scarf down, exposing the bottom half of his face in order to speak. Sophia crossed her arms.

"I wanted to take a walk with you."

The woman's expression darkened.

"Don't start playing games with me," she warned. "You

Challenge: The Forest PathYou think you're on the right path, but then again, the GPS on your phone is known to be spotty. The path continues up ahead, disappearing into a pretty thick-looking forest. Were you supposed to make the left turn at the fork a mile back? You were pretty sure you had to go right at the time. Oh, well. It doesn't matter now, does it? Besides, this is probably a super secret shortcut or something. The other route was probably the lame tourist scenic route, all winding and drawn out and bleh, so much walking.

You are absolutely certain this is the shorter way. And the shorter the distance you have to travel, the better. This basket is getting
