What's crackin'? XD

So it's midsummer. Time passes so fast. D:

I currently have no legitimate excuse for my artlessness. Unless you count Facebook as a legitimate excuse.

But in reality, I've been focusing more on my writing lately. I've been cranking out page after page of an AU Pride and Prejudice-based fic (currently called Sweet Hearts, but even though that's just a working title, it fits quite nicely with the faux book cover I made for it). It's centered more around the humorously angst-filled William Darcy as he attempts to deal with having a red candy heart floating above his head (a nod to Flapjack) as a sign of First Love.

Heh. It's quite amusing to myself, and fun to write, even if it does deprive me of sleep.

How's y'all's summer been?

To answer your question:
... I haven't done anything great.

I'll have another LAN Party tomorrow. Over two days. Without sleep. With two Pizzas and a package of Ice-Tea. And eight guys from my class.

At the moment it is raining. It was raining for 4 days here actually

My current duty is feeding the dogs. Waaay better than cleaning the kennel. ^^;

I got new glasses. Everyone says that they make me look more mature. Hrm.

I'm listening to Oasis at the moment. Especially Wonderwall, I don't know why. ^^;
and to Kettcar, an German Indie Rock band with some really cool song titles like 'So lang die dicke Frau noch singt, ist die Oper nicht zu Ende' (means: As long the fat woman sings, this opera is not at its end.)

Well, That's everything from me for now.

Mmm, pizza. XD
What's a LAN Party?

LOL. Yes, feeding dogs is definitely > cleaning kennels.

Oasis and Kettcar? I've not heard of them, but I'll check 'em out. C:
(actually, lately I've been leaning more towards older music myself-- Frank Sinatra and the like.)

Hark!: "Baa says the lamb. The lamb says baa."

Well, if you look at Wikipedia, an LAN Party is an (Quote : )

'A LAN party is a temporary, sometimes spontaneous, gathering of people together with their computers, which they network together primarily for the purpose of playing multiplayer computer games. These local area networks (LANs) come in various sizes, from very small (two people) to very large (more than 10,000 people).'

It was quite fun. But now I am tired.

Don't think that I am an geek/nerd or something like that. These Lan Partys are quite popular in Germany. (Or at least in our school ^^;)

...

Swing? nice ^^
hmm. Actually I can't put swing into an specific drawer. It is an subgenre of Jazz, right? Everything that is jazzy is cool. ^^

...

You should check out Dire Straits too. they are an quite old (~1970) british rock band and some of their songs are just awesome.

Ah, that's why 'LAN' sounded so familiar! lawl, I don't think you're a geek/nerd or anything. :hug:

I actually don't know exactly what 'swing' is, but I like it, apparently. XD

Thanks for the suggestion. :3

Well, Lan means also 'Local area network', which is an ordinary network between two computers.
Whatever.

No problem ^^
